DO YOU EMBARRASS YOURSELF OVER THE HOLIDAYS? | Stuart Knight

Like everything in life, there are some people who do things better or worse than others. Christmas is no exception to that rule. There are people who celebrate the holiday in style and with sophistication and then there are those who do in a way that is embarrassing. In this video, I break down the four major ways in which people act during the holiday season that takes them away from living their life at the highest level. If you are one of these people, I’m not trying to call you out or make fun of you, but rather show you an opportunity for an exciting change you can make.

Love your pod casts however this one I feel I need to comment . I am christian and go to church regularly now, but for years I only went on Christmas and Easter but loved it I think everyone should go. Eventually I ended up believing and the Church is a huge part of my life it brings me comfort peace and joy it is like family. Our Church welcomes all people believers and non believers. Church is about Love Hope Joy and Peace which whether you believe in God or not, is for everyone !!!
Believe it or not most of your pod cast and speaking are based on Christian values I even saw you once and ask if you were a minister as your talk was very much what we talk about in church

Thanks for your thoughts Kelly and I very much appreciate you engaging in my videos and podcasts in the past. Like I said in this week’s video I will fight for someone’s right to believe in any god they want and at the same time that also means I will fight for anyone’s right to not believe in god as well. I personally do not believe in a god and find religion to be an archaic idea and concept. You’re right that religion teaches love, hope, joy, peace etc. but I certainly do not believe that the church or religion invented any of those things. There are millions upon millions of Atheists on planet earth who love, hope, joy, share peace etc and they did not need a god or a church to get them there. In fact, I think there is a strong argument to suggest that Atheists are more loving than those religions who do accept homosexuals as equals in the eyes of god, or religions who do not accept women as equal to men. I think there is a strong argument that Atheists are more peaceful than many religions who have a long history of killing others who have not believes in their ideas. I could go on, but you get the point. But like I said, I am happy for you that you enjoy the church and this it brings you personal joy. And I have no doubt that you are a very loving person. But I still stick to the point that I was making that many people who attend church once or twice a year cannot really call themselves truly religious. However, I kind of think that’s a good thing, because I personally think religion is very bad for our society. So let’s agree to disagree on that one and I hope you enjoy my future offerings! Be well my friend.

Thanks for the response I respect your views and know there is lots of Atheists that are wonderful people and I understand not all Christians are good loving people. I know there is a lot problems with some churches but the world is broken place full of violence and sadness. I love being a small light of hope for people. Which is what you do as well with your podcasts, a long with lots of Atheists and Christians
At our church the LGBTQ community is more then welcome. We not only many members of LGBTQ community but also leaders who are homosexual. Our church preforms Gay marriages. Just hoping you keep an open mind and know that not all churches hold that view . They also do so much outreach and the church is full of wonderful caring people.
I am not trying to convert you I just hope you can understand a bit more about the good in the church.
Happy Holidays
